But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year. And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? And Bethuel begat Rebekah: these eight Milcah did bear to Nahor, Abraham's brother. And she said, Behold my maid Bilhah, go in unto her; and she shall bear upon my knees, that I may also have children by her. For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle. |
